Congratulations, IVCDO!

SOREDI contributed $2,000 to this IVCDO (Illinois Valley Community Development Organization) botanical project as part of the 2020 EDA Cares Act Funding, responding as Southern Oregon’s Economic Development District.  As part of our 5-year strategy, we are directly involved with and supportive of projects and communities investing in projects that continue to develop Southern Oregon as a great place to live, work, and do business. IVCDO, a non-profit agency serving the Illinois Valley, used the grant to assist in the Phase One completion of the Rough & Ready Outdoor Trail project. The project widens and doubles the length of the trail wheelchair accessibility, adds artful benches with chainsaw carvings and leveraged nearly $50,000 in other grant funds received from the BLM, Travel Oregon, Pacific Power and other monetary and in-kind donations.
