Talent Company Bought Out by Global Company

Rogue Valley Times recently reported in an article by Buffy Pollock that Micro-Trains Line Co. of Talent was bought by global Atlas Model Railroad Co.

With roots going back to the 1940s, Micro-Trains manufactures model trains and model train parts. As of November 17, 2025, the buyout is official, which will mean that all manufacturing will continue at the warehouse under the name Micro-Trains Atlas until all products run out.

All Micro-Trains products will be serviced and available post transition through Atlas’ authorized dealers, distributors and online.

Atlas Model Railroad Co. is located in New Jersey and is a 100-plus year-old company. They are committed to maintaining U.S. production and have extended job offers to some Micro-Trains employees.
