Ashland & Medford Survey to Explore Economic Development

KOBI5 reports that the City of Ashland and the City of Medford are working together to survey all economic stakeholders in the Rogue Valley, including business owners, residents, employers and workers. Looking at a 10–20-year plan for both cities and region, the survey will help provide information to assist in future economic development.

KOBI5 quoted Jordan Rooklyn, Ashland Deputy City Manager, saying, “We know that there’s been a shift in economy post Covid-19 and so, we’re really here to start building positively in the direction we want to go in.”

With a chance to win a $100 VISA gift card, the survey is available until February 23 and can be accessed here

The cities are also planning focus groups and one-on-one interviews, along with data analyses.
