BOW Bootcamp is a series of educational sessions to give start-up businesses the knowledge and tools to kick their business into gear held on October 10th at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Central Oregon. Join panel experts in branding, marketing, finance, strategy, sales and more. The sessions are in partnership with the Oregon Outdoor Alliance. Four sessions will focus on key principles for launching and running a successful business. Panelists include top industry experts with experience across finance, marketing, product management, branding, and more.

The fifth annual BreakOut event is the first and only funding event focused solely on the outdoor industry. 30+ companies applied to compete at the 2019 event. Three early stage outdoor product companies will pitch on stage for their shot at the BreakOut Award, a $5,000 no strings attached cash grant, and three growth stage outdoor product companies will pitch on stage for the Ready to Roll award, $10,000 no strings attached cash grant. New for this year, both awards will be audience vote. Along with the awards will be guest speaker, Mickey Wilson, professional slack lining athlete, and other entertainment. The event will kick off with an expo outside featuring trickline demos, outdoor company displays, music, and free beer from 10 Barrel.
