Medford, Ore. – October 22, 2015: – SOREDI Members are invited to attend the next Industry Tour which will feature a behind-the-scenes tour of River Hawk Boats, Erickson, and Timber Products with a special discussion from Carestream. This exclusive member-only event is designed to give participants the opportunity to learn of the diversity of businesses based in the two-county region, learn about post-education work opportunities, nurture partnerships between the public and private sector, and provide networking opportunity for all participants.
While the tours are member-only events, Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield, has provided funding to permit us to offer complimentary registrations to a small number high school educators from across the region. With Regence’s support this commitment intended to help educators incorporate into their educational curriculum the skills needed by our area manufacturing, technology and electronic commerce businesses as learned by visiting area businesses.
“This is a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of some of the prosperous businesses in Southern Oregon and to learn more about them, while networking with peers.” Says Kathy Trautman, Business Development Manager at SOREDI.
