Summer Readiness for Grants Pass

KDRV recently reported on Grants Pass’s new Downtown Parklet Grant Program — $30,000 has been allocated from the City’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) award.

“Basically, it’s park lift programs that extend the seating for the restaurants,” said James Conway, the economic development specialist for the City of Grants Pass.

These upgrades will expand restaurant seating and create outdoor dining for local residents and visitors the summer season. Each restaurant will apply to convert one parking space for dining use. Application deadline is Friday, April 12, at 5pm.
