SOREDI The Prize is Right!

SOREDI to Celebrate the Many Prizes of Southern Oregon, June 29, 2016

MEDFORD, Or – Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development, Inc. (SOREDI) will host its annual meeting, 4:30 – 8:30 pm, Wednesday, June 29 at the Ashland Hills Inn, Ashland. Banner Bank will serve as the Title Sponsor and numerous Southern Oregon Edge profiled companies are expected to attend, offer raffle prizes, and be on hand to share more about their respective companies and products. Raffle tickets will be included with registration fees; early registrations will receive incrementally more raffle tickets.

The 2016 annual meeting will set the stage for SOREDI to enter its 30th year as the region’s only economic development agency established to help businesses launch, relocate, and prosper. Three local guest speakers addressing each of SOREDI’s core functions will be featured and announced at a later date.

According to Colleen Padilla, SOREDI’s Senior Business Development Manager, this year’s program theme of “The Prize is Right!” will shed light on the “great prizes we have in people and businesses right here in Southern Oregon. We hope to create greater awareness and connection with the many prize companies we have in own backyards.” Padilla adds that the “grand prize is simply the privilege of living here!”

In addition, the agency will say goodbye to Ron Fox, Executive Director, who is retiring May 27, and welcome the new director who will share annual highlights and agency accomplishments. SOREDI’s board presidency will also change with Aaron Ausland of Ausland Group taking the helm. Prosper Business Awards will also be announced.

SOREDI’s annual meeting typically attracts over 250 local business and community leaders and provides great networking opportunities, while also bringing attendees up-to-date on SOREDI’s ongoing activities in business development, recruitment and retention. now through April 13 for just $45. Prices increase to $60 ticket thereafter. Non-members may also register – price is $75 ticket.
