Local Tech Company, Plexis, Moves to Medford to Accommodate Growth

Plexis Healthcare Systems is transitioning its 85+ employees from their current location in two buildings in Ashland, to one state-of-the-art building on Chevy Way in Medford, Oregon.

Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development, Inc. (SOREDI) assisted Plexis in their expansion by processing their application for property tax abatement incentives through the Medford Urban Enterprise Zone. SOREDI had been meeting with Plexis and helping them prepare for expansion by working through different scenarios. During the process of considering available locations to build a new facility, which was their initial plan, an ideal facility located in Medford became available and met their immediate need. Pertinent to their enterprise zone application, Plexis will add at least 8 jobs over 3 – 5 years; however, the company expects this number could easily climb.
