2025 SOREDI Prosper Awards Announced

At the February 27, 2025, SOREDI State of the Rogue Valley Breakfast, the SOREDI Prosper Awards were reinstated after a pause since 2020. The Prosper Awards have been a tradition of SOREDI since 2012.

The categories recognized are Ingenuity, Prosperity, Tenacity, Collaboration and Inspiration

The Ingenuity Award – NIC Industries. This award is for a company that incorporates creative problem-solving for a new product, a new business model or an invention that changed their identity or access to the market. Previous winners: Global Caché, Diode Laser Concepts, Pavati Marine, Carestream, ICWUSA, MaskIT, Biomed Diagnostics, HerdDogg Ashland and Rentec Direct

The Prosperity Award – Pacific Wall Systems “Pac Wall” This award is given to companies that have demonstrated remarkable or sustained financial growth by expansion of products, services, footprint or employment. Previous Winners: Krauss Craft, Erickson Aircrane, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, First Call Resolution, Darex, Lithia Motors, AllCare Health, Rising Sun Farms and Dutch Bros.

The Tenacity Award – Club Northwest This award is given to businesses with a remarkable ability to overcome obstacles or weather uncertainties, leveraging them into opportunities to thrive. Previous Winners: Classic Trolley, Taylor’s Sausage, Masterbrand, Encore Ceramics, Rogue Valley MicroDevices, Varney Manufacturing, Blackstone Audio, Rogue Truck Body and Braun Brush.

The Collaboration Award – CraterWorks MakerSpace AND Talent Maker City This is a recognition of businesses that deliberately foster the growth of others, in addition to themselves. These companies are the epitome of the phrase, “a rising tide lifts all boats,” and they cultivate that environment throughout their culture. Previous Winners: Rogue Credit Union, Medford Food Co-op and Ashland Food Co-op, Motorcycle USA, Quantum Innovations, Croman Corporation, Zeal, Pallet Wine Company, Moss Adams, KCC/OIT/RCC/SOU, Proclamation 15!

The Inspiration Award – Sunny Spicer This award recognizes an individual who has made an impact in the region, inspiring us through the consistent time and attention that they have invested in helping Southern Oregon prosper. Previous Winners: Steve Vincent, John Lamy, Dean Wendle, Dennis Donnelly, Peter Angstadt, Bern Case, John Underwood, Hal Jones, and Stacie Grier.
