RV Times Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

Happy Paper Anniversary to RV Times! It was in February 2023 that this newspaper and digital newsroom was launched. You may have received a printed copy in the mail, which is RV Times’ way of celebrating this milestone.

David Sommers, RV Times Publisher, intended for this special edition to inform Southern Oregon about the RV Times and the work of their journalists.

Sommers is all too aware of the challenges of journalism across Oregon and shares his concerns and hopes for moving from a “news desert” to communities rich with journalistic empowerment, supported by members of local Oregon communities.
