FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 13, 2024
Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development, Inc. (SOREDI) is happy to announce that Ryan DeRoo has joined the team as Business Development Loan Manager, effective June 3rd.
Ryan has 17 years’ experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry, with a passion for helping businesses and individuals thrive financially. His time as a Commercial Relationship Manager allowed him to connect with local business owners to learn about their needs and what can be done to help them succeed in growing their business.
“We are grateful to be gaining back momentum in staff capacity, following several years of disruption in the economy”, says Colleen Padilla, Executive Director. “We can now continue our concerted efforts to catch up on a backlog of relevant initiatives and sidelined outreach to the business community.”
Ryan was born and raised in the Rogue Valley and attended Southern Oregon University studying Business Administration. In addition, Ryan recently completed the Medford Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program and has strong connections with other influential leaders throughout the Rogue Valley.
With his desire to help others, Ryan is on the board of directors for the Jacksonville-Applegate Rotary Club focused on community service projects. He feels that his best strength is in customer service and being able to listen and respond to client needs.
When not at work, Ryan enjoys spending his time outdoors, enjoying all the local lakes and campgrounds Southern Oregon has to offer. Ryan resides in Medford.
Feel free to reach out to Ryan and say welcome! Ryan@soredi.org, (541) 951-3239
