Rick Dyer

As a dedicated Jackson County Commissioner with nearly 50 years of residency in the Rogue Valley, I am deeply committed to fostering economic development and advocating for local businesses in our community. My passion for strengthening our economy drives my efforts to ensure a vibrant future for Jackson County.

In addition to my work in economic development, I have a long history of supporting youth sports. Over the years, I have coached and mentored hundreds of kids from youth sports through high school, instilling in them the values of teamwork and perseverance. I remain an enthusiastic supporter of my alma mater, the SOU Raiders, where my son plays, and I take great pride in attending all their games to support our young athletes as they strive for success both on and off the field.

I believe the Rogue Valley is an excellent place to do business due to the close collaboration between all levels of government and the business community in the effort to help address their specific needs. Additionally, there is a strong awareness and attention to cooperation among various agencies working together to support our local workforce, economic development, and business advocacy goals.
