On Tuesday, July 8, SOREDI attended the groundbreaking for member Southern Oregon Goodwill. They are relocating from their current location on Plaza Boulevard in Central Point to property next to Les Schwab and close to Costco. The new facility plans to open in the summer of 2026 which will offer an improved customer experience as well as 5 to 6 new job opportunities.

Just last December, Goodwill held a ribbon cutting for the new Ashland location, expanding services and educational opportunities for the region.

Jaymes Tadlock, SOREDI staff and Goodwill board director, is excited about the future for Goodwill at their new location. “The relocation to a new store with a larger footprint and a Job Connections Center, will allow Southern Oregon Goodwill to expand employment and training opportunities to community members,” stated Tadlock.
