Rental and Utility Assistance Program Expands Eligibility for Wildfire Survivors

The Intermediate Housing Assistance (IHA) program has expanded its income eligibility requirements from 80% to 120% of the area median income (AMI) for their county. See the ReOregon income requirements webpage for details.

This program provides rental and/or utility assistance to eligible households for up to 24 months. OHCS is hopeful that the expanded eligibility will allow more households to receive assistance. About 300 households are now receiving assistance through this program.

To provide local support to households in the counties affected by the 2020 Labor Day Disasters, CAAs can assist with questions or help with the application process.

The IHA website provides more information on eligibility, as well as the application.
