Quarter 2, 2016: A County by County Look at Oregon Median Wages

Jackson County falls in the top third of median wages for Oregon, while Josephine County falls in the bottom quarter. A critical factor in determining median wages is the balance between reliance on local resources and local markets versus broader markets and products that be scaled up and exported. This difference helps explain the broad range of differences in Oregon’s counties.
