Andrea Carlson Joins SOREDI as New Business Development Manager

Andrea Carlson of Medford recently became SOREDI’s Business Development Manager. In this role, Carlson will build community partnerships while developing outreach programs to draw new business to the region. Andrea will also work with government entities, landowners, brokers and others in cooperative efforts to help retain and expand existing businesses. “It’s about communicating the right message, and connecting the right people,” she explains.

Carlson earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism-Broadcast News from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She spent more than 8 years as an anchor for two top-rated television news programs, including KDRV Newswatch 12. For the past 5 years, Carlson has worked as the Public Information Officer for the Jackson County Sheriff’s office. While there, she wrote and produced materials to disperse to the media, and created training programs, events and other campaigns.
