Alan Meyer is the director of customer and community affairs for Pacific Power. Alan holds a BA in Business Management from William Woods University. Alan and his wife, Lisa, have called Josephine County their home for the past three plus years. Prior to that, they lived in the Willamette Valley, and prior to that, Central Missouri and the St. Louis area. The couple has two grown children, Dominic, an engineer in Boulder, Colorado, and Gabriella who works for a charter school in Grants Pass, and is a freelance photographer and social media marketer.
In addition to the SOREDI Board of Directors, Alan serves as vice-chair for the Grants Pass and Josephine County Chamber of Commerce and is also on the government affairs committee for the Chamber. Alan is also a board member of the Britt Music and Arts Festival and the Josephine County Broadband Action Team. Prior to moving to Southern Oregon, Alan has served on various chamber, economic development, and downtown association boards. In Alan’s free time he loves live music, road trips, and tending to their 7.5 acres in Josephine County.
Fun Fact: Alan has a scar on his left arm caused by a tornado propelling him through a glass storm door.
