Paul Anderson

Paul, General Manager for Rogue Truck Body, was born and raised in Southern California where he began his career in management and eventually moved to Southern Oregon as the Regional Personnel Director for Kmart Corp. in 1985.  It was there that he met his wife Anita, and together they raised two sons who themselves still live in Oregon.

In his career he has worked in retail management, the lumber mills, and over twenty years in local government. He has owned several businesses of his own including businesses in construction, wholesale distribution, retail sales, restaurants, and environmental consulting.   While working full time he completed his bachelor’s degree in business at SOSC, and then later in life completed a second bachelor’s degree in Environment Science/ Microbiology from California State University, Sacramento.

In 2000, he was honored by President George W. Bush, with a Small Businessman of the Year Award.  And has been twice recognized by the State of Oregon DHS for excellence in working with both small and large facility projects, including the first ever Watershed Protection Program in Southern Oregon.  Paul is an avid outdoorsman, but in his free time, he enjoys working with craft projects both as a wood craftsman and as an artist along with his wife. He especially enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren.
