Calling Southern Oregon Inventors and Makers! July 11 Panel

Get your tickets now! This LAUNCH|Talk will feature a panel discussion to help you learn what it takes to be successful making and selling products right here in Southern Oregon. Join us at the amazing new CraterWorks Maker Space in Central Point. Our evening will include a tour of CraterWorks so that you can see for yourself that we now have access to these impressive facilities that support graphics, craft, wood, metal and food entrepreneurs. You will be able to have your questions answered and discover new resources to support your consumer products-based business in Southern Oregon.

The panel will include:

Taneea Browning, Managing Partner in CraterWorks MakerSpace, in Central Point. In addition to being an Oregon native, wife, mother and Executive Director of Central Point based, non-profit, D.I.R.T., (Direct Involvement Recreation Teaching), Browning has recently taken on this new role. CraterWorks is a partnership between the Central Point School District and DIRT. CraterWorks is building a community of makers, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and students of all disciplines, working under one roof, sharing tools and ideas and building incredible futures.

Ryan Wilcoxson,  Executive Director of Talent Maker City. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is working to build a more connected, more prosperous Rogue Valley through hands-on creativity and innovative STEAM-based learning. Prior to co-founding TMC in 2016, Ryan owned and operated a San Francisco-based media design/development company. These days, he can be found doing a little bit of everything at Talent’s downtown makerspace facility.
