On December 7, the city of Grants Pass was presented a check from the Energy Trust of Oregon for $130,000 as part of the trust’s incentive program to help meet its clean energy goals. ZCS Engineering & Architecture (SOREDI Member) and Carollo Engineers partnered with the city to make upgrades to the Water Restoration Plant.
The Water Restoration Plant’s heat exchanger was upgraded so that it could efficiently use gases from the digester to directly power the heat exchanger. The Wastewater System program’s mission is to meet the area’s current and future wastewater collection and treatment needs, protecting human health, welfare and the environment.
This City of Grants Pass project exemplifies the local progress and commitment to further the economic growth and vitality of Southern Oregon.
