On the upcoming November ballot, Medford residents will be voting on Measure 15-238, the first step of the Creekside Quarter concept. This concept is projected to:
~Revitalize downtown Medford with a conference center, hotel, stadium, and a reimagined park space
~Create jobs with an increase of $752 million in wages for local workers and boost the local economy by $1.69 billion, which is backed by a feasibility study
This first step of the development plan, the conference center, is Measure 15-238, which is funded by overnight visitors through the Transient Lodging Tax (TLT) in Medford. The Creekside Quarter PAC has indicated that no property, sales, or utility taxes are involved.
Once complete, the full Creekside Quarter development plan would offer space for conferences, concerts, tournaments and community events, strengthening downtown and expanding what Medford can host.
