KOBI recently reported – The Downtown Medford Association (DMA) has launched the Storefront Activation Program, which will focus on activating three to five vacant street-level spaces in the downtown area.
The eligible projects would receive between $500 and $7,000, which could be used for short-term rent, accessibility improvements, and/or minor visual upgrades.
According to Annie Jenkins, Executive Director of DMA, “Really, it’s about how do we fill some vacancies in our downtown using these dollars, and how can we get more foot traffic into our downtown.”
