PLEXIS fosters a corporate culture rooted in mindfulness practice. Among other employee benefit offerings in the PLEXIS Wellness Program, employees receive complimentary meditation retreats, childcare, and massage therapy; they enjoy fresh juices, supplements, and on-tap kombucha at the “brain bar”; and they participate in numerous on-site classes including yoga, Pilates, and Zumba. Plexicans, along with Yant and his family, “pay it forward” by participating in corporate philanthropy initiatives. In 2016, they launched a unique program to gamify support for a favorite charity, NativeVision. NativeVision is a partnership operated by Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health and the National Football League Players’ Association to mentor Native youth. The more steps employees and strategic partners took, the more money PLEXIS pledged to give to NativeVision. Overall, this program resulted in raising money for NativeVision, increasing the visibility of the charity, and aligning with the corporate guiding principles of work/life balance, health, and fun.
