Another business resource is for entrepreneurs. The Jackson County Library Foundation was awarded $20,000 by the Oregon Community Foundation to create a Rural Entrepreneur In-Residence Program for rural Applegate.

This program is in 4-month terms in which two entrepreneurs are “enrolled.”

The program is designed to provide 1:1 mentoring, business development skills, and a speaker event with a local industry leader.
