launch-ashland_logo-large-square-rgbTuesday, October 18, beginning at 5:30 pm, LAUNCH Ashland will offer a Pub Talk for area start-ups at the Standing Stone Brewing Company. A panel of local Angel Investors will offer their experiences and insights for the benefit of entrepreneurs or potential investors. In addition, there will be plenty of time to mingle and network. Appetizers and coffee/tea will be provided.

“SOREDI and core partners, City of Ashland, SOU and SBDC are proud to offer this collaborative LAUNCH Ashland initiative to encourage new business in the region. This first Pub Talk is the first of monthly meetings,” says Colleen Padilla, Executive Director at SOREDI.  “The LAUNCH Ashland program will include workshops and business incubation for start-ups that need practical advice and assistance. Our ultimate goal is syndicate this effort all over region. It is our hope that these start-ups would take root and provide good employment opportunities in Southern Oregon. We aim to support them in every way possible, from concept to revenue generation.”
