Local News: PacWall Ribbon Cutting was a Success!

“Don’t get caught with your walls down.” was a motto greeting guests to the ribbon cutting ceremony Monday, November 13.

PacWall had several options to expand to but settled on the former Boise Cascade property in Phoenix. Before the ribbon cutting, Alex Knecht, co-owner of Pacific Wall Systems, gave a tour of the property. They have quickly settled into full production, providing walls for customers from the Bay area to Seattle.

SOREDI facilitated the event inviting local elected officials, Phoenix’s City Manager, Eric Swanson, Phoenix Mayor Terry Baker, and Phoenix Chamber President, Will Volpert, to publicly and officially welcome PacWall to the City of Phoenix. SOREDI Executive Director Colleen Padilla provided some history and thanked PacWall for continuing to choose Southern Oregon to do business in. As a traded-sector company, they are providing primary jobs to the region.

Attendance was strong by local community members and businesses. All employees were squeezed together to participate in the ribbon cutting photo, which is a testament to the value the company places on each staff member.

Established in 2007, Pacific Wall Systems is a family and women-owned entity that first began in Medford. For details about this exciting company, read here. Welcome to Phoenix, PacWall!
