“Meet Your Future Employees” :  Tour Phoenix and Crater High Schools

Each of the CTE teachers who support the high school programs you will tour, are highly qualified experts from industry. In fact, that expertise in their areas of instruction is the first requirement of becoming endorsed as a “Career and Technical Education” (CTE)teacher. They work hand-in-hand with their college teaching counterparts and their Industry Advisory Boards to ensure that they are current, and trained, in the most needed industry skillsets. Each of them spend far more hours on continuing professional development, and in their CTE labs, than what they are paid for. They do all of this to ensure that they remain experts: highly qualified to prepare their students for next steps, whether moving directly into careers, or post-secondary education.
