Member News: Soft Opening Celebration for Evergreen Federal Bank, Ashland

SOREDI was in attendance when the new Evergreen Federal Bank opened in Ashland on August 2. Four Ashland-based businesses were part of this innovative and net-zero project – KSW Architects, Outlier Construction, True South Solar, and Stracker Solar. The building is a standing monument as to what Southern Oregon offers and can accomplish.

According to the press release from April 18, 2023, between the three solar panels and the rooftop panel, this branch will generate over 143,000 kWh in solar energy each year. This is an annual carbon dioxide reduction of 49.5 metric tons, or equivalent to the carbon gathered from 58.6 acres of U.S. forests each year.

Evergreen Federal Bank now offers the additional service of solar financing options and solar tours to help customers learn about net zero energy and available solutions for solar power generation.
