New Downtown Hotel Ready for Next Steps

medfordalert.com provided updates on the new hotel being built across 4th Street from Pear Blossom Park. According to medfordalert.com, “this project aims to fill a gap left after The Inn at The Commons was sold and converted into housing following the Almeda Fire. The new hotel will provide a higher-end lodging experience for downtown visitors.”

The Medford Urban Renewal Agency (MURA) has been actively involved with this project getting utilities relocated and is currently receiving quotes for demolition of existing buildings.

Plan to see an 85,732-square-foot building with 4 floors, part of the Marriott family, Element by Westin, a short & long stay hotel. Elements have a modern Scandanavian style with a focus on supporting guest routines, guest wellness, spacious living areas, and pets are welcome. There will also be meeting rooms available accommodating approximately 60 people.
