KOBI recently reported that Lithia & Driveway Fields had their 4th biggest year for economic stimulus in its 15-year history bringing in close to $12 million, according to the City of Medford. Though they require substantial maintenance, Medford Parks and Recreation Director Rich Rosenthal considers it an investment with an ROI in dining, shopping and hospitality. Having a facility like this keeps teams local for games and tournaments.

Lithia & Driveway Fields is owned and operated by the City of Medford and is the largest municipal FieldTurf installation in the U.S. with 1.5 million square feet of synthetic grass. It offers live stream web cameras and 15 sport fields for baseball, softball, soccer and football. Since its opening in May 2008, the fields have generated $120 million of economic impact for Southern Oregon. Click here to learn more
