SOREDI Announces Membership Appreciation Week, August 22 – 26, 2016

Medford OR – In order to recognize and appreciate the support of those who have joined SOREDI or renewed their membership for the 2016/2017 year, SOREDI employees will be making personal visits to members between Monday, August 22 and Friday, August 26.

“We are able to offer complimentary services to local and incoming businesses because of the support of our members. Without them, we wouldn’t be here,” says SOREDI Executive Director, Colleen Padilla. “We want our members to feel included in our work. I want our staff and our members to interface more often, to develop relationships – not just with me, with all of us. We are all colleagues.”

As part of the Membership Appreciation experience, members will also be invited to have lunch with SOREDI, on the last Tuesday of every month, beginning on August 30, 2016. Padilla continues, “Inviting our members to sit down with us, a few at a time, in a casual environment, allows us to get to know them better. We really want to know what challenges and opportunities they, or the companies they interface with, are facing as they do business in Southern Oregon. We are here to help business prosper in our region. In order to facilitate that, we need to be listening and actively engaged with them, while keeping them informed of what we working on and how it affects them.”

SOREDI members can expect a SOREDI staff or board member to stop by during the fourth week of August to personally deliver a Membership Certificate and an invitation to a Members’ Roundtable Luncheon. At each Roundtable, six members will be treated to lunch with staff and board members in the SOREDI conference room.
