Colleen Padilla has been named Secretary for the Oregon Economic Development Association.
Medford, Ore. – November 12, 2015: – Colleen Padilla, Senior Business Development Manager for SOREDI, was named as 2015-2016 Secretary for the Oregon Economic Development Association (OEDA) Board of Directors during its annual conference held October 18-20 in Medford. Padilla has served on the OEDA board for several years, this is her first Officer position. In this role, Padilla’s primary responsibility will be to serve as the Conference Chairperson for the two conferences held each year. Padilla also serves on the Professional Development Committee.
Padilla, now in her 15th year with SOREDI, follows the strong SOREDI leadership tradition serving the OEDA. SOREDI Executive Director Ron Fox has previously served as President of the OEDA Board. In 2014, SOREDI won a Best Marketing and Promotions Award for their Southern Oregon Edge Campaign and has won numerous economic development awards in recent years.
