SOREDI Loan Program Remains Flexible; Clients Encouraged to Check In

You are in our hearts!

SOREDI has operated a business development loan program for over 25 years. Seed funding for this loan program was provided through our USDA and EDA partners – both grants and loans – for which we make annual payments.

As the region’s federally appointed Economic Development District, we are established as a gap financer. Our job as such is to help eligible credit worthy clients attain the financing, they need to acquire real property, equipment or working capital that leads to growth of their business.

In this time of uncertainly, we would like to let all our current loan clients know that our business development loan program remains flexible.

Our normal protocols include the following:

  • We can modify existing loans on a case by case basis including payment restructuring to fit cash flow.
  • We do not charge late fees.
  • We can offer temporary forbearance of payments.

We highly encourage you to give us a call and let us know how your business is managing through the COVID19 pandemic and tell us how we might provide further assistance.
