SOREDI News: Celebrating 22 years!!

We here at SOREDI we are proud to celebrate our Executive Director, Colleen Padilla, who has advocated for Southern Oregon economic development for the last 22 years!

Colleen’s story began as a community work education intern with Southern Oregon University’s Small Business Development Center, which at the time was located in the same building as SOREDI. After the internship, she was invited by SOREDI to apply for a business development position and has been with SOREDI ever since!

It only takes a few moments being with Colleen to learn of her love for and solid commitment to Southern Oregon’s economic development. She is at the ready (so ready!) to listen to local businesses for needs, concerns, and ideas to provide support and resources. She tirelessly advocates for all things Southern Oregon, as a native herself.

When not working, you are likely to see Colleen hiking with her faithful companion, Rosie, visiting with friends at Mtn Church, or spanning the globe in service to underserved communities.
