SOU/SBDC Announces 2018 Small Business Management Class

Managing for Success

Southern Oregon University’s Small Business Development Center is offering to all serious business owners a Small Business Management program that includes a unique combination of classroom learning, one-on-one advising from an experienced, professional business adviser, and networking with one goal:  making one’s small business more successful.

Over a nine-month period, participants will discover solutions to relevant small business management issues such as developing clear goals, record keeping and recording, financial management strategies and practices, exploring marketing opportunities for business growth, finding, keeping and developing good employees, and solutions to other challenges.  In addition to monthly group meetings, Todd Tippin, the SBM instructor/adviser, will help develop a personalized plan for maximizing each participating business and prioritizing practical steps for achieving real world results.  Class participants are also automatically eligible for any of SOU/SBDC’s other valuable workshops provided throughout the term at no additional cost.

Class begins Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at the SOU/RCC Higher Education Center, 6:00-9:00 PM.  To receive an application or for further information, please contact SOU’s Small Business Development Center at sou.edu/sbdc, by calling 541-552-8300, or emailing sbdc@sou.edu.
