Summer Internship Program Deadline: February 16

Rogue Valley Internship Program is accepting applications for businesses who would like to host a high school intern this summer! These internships are unpaid and require a minimum of 40 hours. You can determine the distribution of those hours over the summer. Students are covered by liability insurance provided by the school district. Businesses do not need to require worker’s comp.

Simply visit Rogue Valley Internship Program online and create your profile. You will be guided through the questionnaire for businesses. On Monday, February 21, students will be invited to apply to the listings that are of interest to them and the process will begin to introduce your intern and your business. Students invited to apply are Southern Oregon’s “Rising Seniors,” in the summer between their Junior and Senior years in High School.

The goal of Rogue Valley Internship Program is to help students make professional connections within the community. We’d like to help them make informed decisions about their career path and, hopefully, become passionate about a career that keeps them growing as young professionals in Southern Oregon. You might just find your next favorite employee!

For more information, you can view this 5 minute video, created by Natalie Hurd with Medford School District and Baylie Ward, a Senior at North Medford High. This video will be used by teachers to introduce the Summer Internship Program to their students, to help them understand why internships provide such valuable life and professional experiences.
