Shout Out for 1MC Grants Pass

The January 26th Grants Pass Daily Courier featured an article on the efforts of SOIH (Southern Oregon Innovation Hub) each Wednesday at 9:30am at The Hivve, hosting 1 Million Cups (1MC). 1MC is a space for entrepreneurs and startups to network, gather resources, and potentially have the opportunity to present their business idea. Founded by the Kauffman Foundation, 1MC happens all around the country every Wednesday at 9:30am local time – Educating, Inspiring and Connecting Entrepreneurs Nationwide Every Wednesday Morning.

Typically, with an attendance of 30-40, Kim Freeze, Innovation Ecosystem Steward for SOIH, invites two entrepreneurs to present each Wednesday followed by a Q&A. Freeze follows up the presentations by asking what the audience can do to help them. SOIH is committed to taking entrepreneurs from idea to launch to success and has found 1MC to be a vital resource in doing just that. Entrepreneurs like to network together and the more they practice presenting their business amongst “friends” the more prepared they are to take the next step.

Are you an entrepreneur looking for a space to hone your skills to take your business to the next level? Are you interested in getting input on your idea or your business? Is watching entrepreneurs showcase their businesses your jam? Every Wednesday at 9:30am at The Hivve in Grants Pass!
