Made in Medford: Emerald Technologies Creates New Jobs by Manufacturing Osteoboost

KDRV recently reported that Medford has some new manufacturing in town:

MEDFORD, Ore. – Innovation is sparking new opportunities in Medford as Osteo Boost partners with Emerald Technologies to bring cutting-edge tech and jobs to the local community.

Osteo Boost, known for its FDA-cleared vibrating wearable band designed to combat osteoporosis and bone density loss, has teamed up with Emerald Technologies to manufacture their device locally.

 “We make an FDA clear device to treat low bone density and actually we’re building a comprehensive solution. Our device is the only prescription treatment for low bone density that’s not a drug,” said Laura Verdes, CEO of Osteo Boost. “And we felt that the quality and, you know, all of that was gonna be really good and we wanted to do it locally,” said Verdes.

This partnership has already resulted in the creation of 10 new jobs, with plans for more. Importantly, Emerald Technologies is committed to hiring locally, offering opportunities to individuals without prior experience in technology or manufacturing.
