AllCare Health Partners with Rentec Direct to Help Landlords Access Oregon Medicaid’s New Benefit

Health-Related Social Need (HRSN) benefit grants local landlords a seamless path to support renters in need

GRANTS PASS, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–AllCare Health, a physician-owned healthcare organization serving Southern Oregon for over 30 years, has partnered with Rentec Direct, a leading property management software provider, to provide a streamlined platform for landlords to access the Health Related Social Need (HRSN) benefit. This collaboration aims to make it easier for landlords to help their tenants in need of rent assistance while navigating the new Oregon Medicaid program.

“By partnering with Rentec Direct, we’ve created a unique platform that makes it easier for landlords to get paid when they have a tenant who qualifies for the HRSN benefit. This ensures that tenants have a safe, stable home while receiving the care and support they need”

The HRSN benefit is part of the state’s 1115 Medicaid Waiver for the 2022-2027 period, designed to provide additional support for social needs that impact health and well-being. The benefit includes rent assistance for eligible tenants who are at risk of homelessness or struggle to maintain housing stability.

“By partnering with Rentec Direct, we’ve created a unique platform that makes it easier for landlords to get paid when they have a tenant who qualifies for the HRSN benefit. This ensures that tenants have a safe, stable home while receiving the care and support they need,” said Amy Burns, Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations for AllCare Health. “AllCare is so lucky to have such a great locally-based partner where we can work together to help local members and families in need.”
