If you haven’t had a chance to read his introductory message, please enjoy the read below. We look forward to the continued partnership as we work together to advance economic growth in Josephine County.

For those I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Terry Hopkins. I grew up in Grants Pass and have owned and operated businesses in this community for many years. I am a proud father of two boys and have been married to my incredible wife, Alison, for 22 years. I have been a Chamber member for over two decades, and most recently, I served five years with the Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association.

I am absolutely thrilled to embark on this journey as President and CEO of the Grants Pass & Josephine County Chamber of Commerce. With a background deeply rooted in small business and having grown up in this very community, I am passionately committed to advancing our Chamber’s mission of fostering local commerce through effective communication, steadfast advocacy, and strategic partnerships. I am excited to collaborate with our incredible staff, volunteers, Ambassadors, and members to build upon the Chamber’s past successes, driving growth and prosperity for all.

As I begin my work in this new role, I look forward to continuing the success and momentum the Chamber has enjoyed. I am grateful for the past leadership of the CEOs who have preceded me in this role. Most recently, I had the pleasure of working with Josie during her leadership and Chuck during his interim term. I know I have big shoes to fill, but I am confident in the support of our incredible staff and my readiness for the challenge.
